Psychological problems frequently associated with conception difficulties
- Negative emotions such as fears, anxiety, depression, feelings of guilt, low self-esteem, anger, feelings of helplessness, despair…
- Partner conflicts and interference in sexual life.
- Problems with the family and social environment when these are not very sensitive to the situation.
- Many people affected feel very lonely with their problem when they lack a trusted person to talk openly about their difficult situation.
In addition to general psychological counselling throughout the whole process (see above), the different phases of fertility treatment can be supported by specific psychological treatment in addition to the medical treatment.
