Last friday 21th came the opening of the eleventh grade of academics in biology of human reproduction
On Friday afternoon, the hall of Alicante Vistahermosa Clinic, we proceeded to the opening of the eleventh edition of the Postgraduate course in Biology of Human Reproduction organized jointly the area of Cell Biology Universidad Miguel Hernández (UMH) and Reproduction Unit and Genetic Unit of Clinic Vistahermosa Alicante.
Over ten years of fruitful partnership between the University Miguel Hernandez and Vistahermosa Clinic, it has trained more than a hundred specialists in Reproductive Biology and Medicine, many of whom currently work in different geographic centers all over Spain. This course has become a national reference because it is a unique Postgraduate course in Spain.
The course is organized in a total of ten subjects, nine of them covering specific aspects of reproduction, and a module of conferences, along the course, taught by national and international specialists. The theoretical sessions will be held in Alicante Vistahermosa clinic. The practical sessions will be held in the units of Reproduction and Genetics of Clinic Vistahermosa.
Throughout the course, held working sessions with specialists in reproduction, which will include lectures and discussion. The course coordinators are Dr. Joaquin Rueda, a professor at the Faculty of Medicine and coordinator of the Genetics Unit, and Jose Jesus Lopez Galvez, director of the Reproduction Unit of the Clinic Vistahermosa.
The opening of the workshop was chaired by Professor Fernando Borras, Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation, and during the same proceeded to deliver the prize ASISA fellows, endowed with 3,000 euros to Pablo Alberola and German Fernandez, both students of the tenth edition of the course.
