The intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) is indicated for cases of male infertility or IVF fertilisation failures. It makes the egg fertilisation possible with a single spermatozoa.

The intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) follows the same protocol as a conventional in vitro fertilisation. The only difference is the way in which the fertilisation is done once the eggs and sperm are collected in the laboratory.
