The Masters in Reproductive Medicine and Genetics, organized by the Reproductive and Genetic Units of the HLA Vistahermosa Hospital, together with the Chair of Reproductive Biomedicine of the Miguel Hernández University, has inaugurated its sixteenth edition.
A number limited to 10 students, from different points in Spain and from outside our country, such as Portugal, Italy, Mexico, Venezuela, Nicaragua or Bolivia, among others, will obtain the title of University Specialist in Reproduction Biology, one of Emerging areas with more future of current medicine.
The program, which includes a series of lectures on “Controversies in Reproduction”, organized by the UMH Reproductive Biology Chair, taught by a group of professionals, scientists and researchers from the best Spanish and international centers, has included in this edition To specialists of the reproduction units of the UR Group, located in different parts of Spain, that are integrated in the centers of the Hospital Group HLA.

The Chair of Reproductive Biomedicine is configured as a special chair of the Miguel Hernández University, attached to the Department of Histology and Anatomy, and will have its headquarters at HLA Vistahermosa Hospital.
The Chair of Reproductive Biomedicine is configured as a special chair of the Miguel Hernández University, attached to the Department of 
Histology and Anatomy and will have its headquarters in the hospital itself. It arises through a joint initiative of the University and the Reproduction Unit of the Vistahermosa Clinic and constitutes a milestone in the teaching and research collaborations that have been carried out by the teaching and hospital institution for eleven years.
The objectives of the Chair are framed in the organization of teaching, research and social activities in the field of reproductive medicine and biology, conceived as a service to society in Alicante. To date, collaboration between the two institutions has ensured that the group of professionals and researchers who are part of the Chair is a national reference in the training of specialists in reproductive medicine, biology and genetics.
In recent months, the collaboration between the UMH and the Reproductive and Genetic Units of the HLA Vistahermosa Hospital has succeeded in putting the world’s first virtual simulator for embryo management as well as the first private biobank in Spain.
