"Every day of the woman cycle is different; even the woman herself may modify her physical conditions from one cycle to other. Plus, the reproductive treatments continue changing, so it is very difficult to find a magic method that guarantees the success on infertility cases”, clears Pedro Caballero, Director of Clínica Tambre of Madrid, specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics.

“There is not a unique suit that fits all couples, every diagnosis requires a personalized cut”, sais Caballero. “We have to add up different factors, techniques, conditions for each woman and man. This will be crucial when we need to find an adequate diagnostic and treatment that gives the highest success rate and that offers a high rate to achieve pregnancy”.
As Caballero explains, the personalized diagnosis and treatments is what increased slightly the success rate in the last 5 years. In egg donation there is an increase of 65 to 70%; meanwhile in IVF the rates range is 45-50%.
