Fertility Day consists in a meeting of around 30 to 40 minutes where our patients have the opportunity of resolving any doubts, clarifying objectives and finding out in a direct way the personalized expert opinions of the specialists at UR who coincidentally they will also have the chance to meet and get to know.
In these appointments, the patients can explain their case, take all material they have relating to any treatments they are undergoing or thinking of or any previous analysis or tests and listen to the specific recommendations relating to their doubts or questions. In these encounters, a doctor and a member of the UR’s International Department will be on hand to resolve any of those doubts, to clarify details and to go through all the steps one by one.
Patients from England, Holland, Italy and Germany have already trusted in UR through these Fertility Days, which have been organized for more than two years in different locations. There, in their originating point, our team attend to a whole host of questions: what type of treatments are used, what tests are necessary and how they are performed, the number of trips which are needed to Alicante, the time required in each stay, how to acquire the medication, prices … Reasonable doubts that the team at UR will answer so that the patients can see that all important step of starting a family a little closer to becoming a reality.
In these Fertility Days, the team at UR generally deal with patients who have had previously failed attempts, whether by insemination or IVF , and who want to take a step forward adding certain techniques or carrying out tests which are not available in their own countries, be it using oocytes or donated semen, as the donations in Spain are completely anonymous and this gives added security.
