{"id":2158,"date":"2017-01-01T17:37:25","date_gmt":"2017-01-01T17:37:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/urvistahermosa.com\/en\/?p=2158"},"modified":"2017-01-01T17:37:25","modified_gmt":"2017-01-01T17:37:25","slug":"spanish-association-human-genetics-accredits-iv-online-course-clinical-genetics-certified-umh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/urvistahermosainternational.com\/en\/spanish-association-human-genetics-accredits-iv-online-course-clinical-genetics-certified-umh\/","title":{"rendered":"The Spanish Association of Human Genetics accredits the IV Online Course of Clinical Genetics certified by the UMH"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>The course, organized by the Chair of Reproductive Biochemistry Clinic Vistahermosa, will count among its faculty with experts from the Units of Reproduction and Genetics of the Hospital Alicantino, as well as specialists from all over the national territory<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The program has a duration of 20 hours and has been extended to address the most current research on genetic news.<br \/>\nThe Spanish Association of Human Genetics (AEGH) has accredited the online modality of the Course of Clinical Genetics in Assisted Reproduction organized by the Chair of Clinical Reproductive Biomedicine Vistahermosa of the University Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez and that counts on professionals of the Units of Reproduction and Genetics of the Hospital Cl\u00ednica Vistahermosa among its faculty.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This certificate tries to promote the courses in genetics promoted by the members of the association, as long as they fulfill a series of requirements that guarantee the quality and reliability of these formative activities.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-2159\" src=\"http:\/\/urvistahermosa.com\/en\/files\/ivcursogeneticaclinica_ur-VISTAHERMOSA_reproducci\u00f3n-asistida_feb-2017_web.jpeg\" alt=\"ivcursogeneticaclinica_ur VISTAHERMOSA_reproducci\u00f3n asistida_feb 2017_web\" width=\"480\" height=\"339\" \/>In its fourth edition, the program has been expanded to include current research on genomic editing in germ cells and embryos, and genetic matching in assisted reproduction. The course, which will be held from March 6 to May 22, will be entirely online and will count for 20 hours. Upon completion, the students will obtain a certificate from the UMH. The main objective of this agenda is to review, in an easy and comfortable, the current knowledge of Clinical Genetics applied to Reproductive Medicine.<br \/>\nThe first topics focus on reviewing the main techniques used in Reproduction in diagnostic techniques and bioinformatic analysis used in the clinical genetics laboratory. Finally, the latest advances in reproductive genetics will be discussed.<br \/>\nThe faculty brings together a valuable representation of specialists from the HLA Vistahermosa hospital: Joaqu\u00edn Rueda, director of the Genetics Unit, Professor of the UMH Faculty of Medicine and specialist in Clinical Genetics; Juan Manuel Moreno, embryo expert responsible for Laboratory of Reproduction Unit; Antonio Urbano, head of Molecular Genetics and Preimplantation Genetic Diagnostic Program; Isabel Ochando, PhD in Genetics, associate professor at the UMH, responsible for Cytogenetics and the Quality program, and Estefan\u00eda Montoya, PhD in Biochemistry and Master in Genetic and Reproductive Medicine.<br \/>\nAlso attending will be Spanish specialists such as Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Sagredo, Number Academician of the Royal National Academy of Medicine,<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-2160 size-thumbnail\" src=\"http:\/\/urvistahermosa.com\/en\/files\/Reproducci\u00f3n-asistida_Geri_time-lapse_fertilidad-alicante_UR-Vistahermosa_dic2016-310x233-140x105.jpg\" alt=\"Reproducci\u00f3n-asistida_Geri_time-lapse_fertilidad-alicante_UR-Vistahermosa_dic2016-310x233\" width=\"140\" height=\"105\" \/> Professor of the University of Alcal\u00e1 and Head of the Medical Genetics Service of the Ram\u00f3n y Cajal Hospital in Madrid; Carles Gim\u00e9nez, Genetist and director of Reprogenetics Spain of Barcelona; Concepcion Villal\u00f3n, facultative of the Service of Medical Genetics of the University Hospital Ram\u00f3n y Cajal of Madrid; Joan Blanco, senior lecturer in Cell Biology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona; Javier Garc\u00eda Planells, scientific director of the Institute of Genomic Medicine (IMEGEN) of Valencia and president of the Spanish Association of Prenatal Diagnosis (AEDP); Africa Garc\u00eda Orad, Professor of Medical Genetics at the University of the Basque Country (UPV \/ EHU); Franz Mart\u00edn, Professor of Nutrition at the Pablo Olavide University in Seville, and Cristina Camprub\u00ed, PhD in Genetics, founder and director of GenIntegral de Barcelona.<br \/>\nThis course is aimed at university students and graduates interested in approaching this field, as well as professionals in Reproductive Medicine and Clinical Genetics who need to update or expand their training.
